Are you sure it's summer ?

December 1st is supposed to be the first day of Summer in Australia, but it  hasn't stopped raining for days, so after we make Dad and Matthew take us for a walk in the pouring rain (!), we put some warm clothes.


The poncho and hat are from Peru; Mum went there went she was little and she'd love to go back !


Melbourne has its wettest year since 1996 which is good because we had such a long drought, but it is in the middle of a "thunderstorm asthma" epidemic caused by pollen grains bursting in humid conditions. Mom has had asthma attacks and hayfever and our sister was doing her year 12 exams, so we haven't been able to blog or visit our friends' blog very much lately. Wen look forward to catching up soon and showing you photos of our Christmas decorations and costumes.


We've received some really nice postcards from our friends :
Booker Man and asa sent us  a card from their hike, what a lovely place ! Our Mom and Dad met while they were hiking in the French Alps; they love hiking, the mountains here in Australia are a bit far, but there are some lovely spots we go to during our vacations.


Lorenza sent us a card from Torreon, in Mexico. When can go to visit her ?


There are some beautiful flowers in Michigan where Oskar lives.



Fisher is trying to hide in his garden, but we can see him !

    Pretty post cards. We hope your mom is feeling better soon. We are getting lot's of winter rain too and we try to get out for my walks each day. M.O.M. doesn't mind since she always carries a bumbershoot! Did I spell that right? Hope so.

    we've been snugglin' up at my house, too, cuz winter is finally here, and it's coooold! we don't have a super spiffy poncho and hat from peru like that, though!
    please give lots 'n lots of gooey nose kisses to your mama from me 'n asa. we hope she is feelin' the betterment very very quick like!

    I hope you have a nice summer. Maybe I'll come visit you since we've had our first snowfall! It's COLD!

    We're happy you recieved our postcard. My mom thinks that they are awesome for collecting. Do you do Post Crossing?

    Oh Bella - it's been raining and raining here too! And you know, in Queensland, when it rains, it REALLY RAINS!!! Like typhoon floods! :-)

    I'm so sorry to hear about your humans' asthma attacks - how horrible! I hope they feel better soon!

    Great photos. It's been -11 degrees centigrade here in the Uk and we've had snow all week. I'd rather have the rain.....and that super poncho.
