My name means a lot to me

Many of you are playing the Fourth Of July Name Game that Frankie Furter is hosting, and I'm happy to play along too (better late than never) because my name means a lot to me..

In Spanish, the name Bella means Beautiful; It is a diminutive of Isabella (a Spanish variant of Elizabeth) which means Devoted to God. I think the best thing about my name is that it is a diminutive of my Mum's name because I love her so much. Mum's name really suits her because she loves and cares for everyone around her so well.

I'm sure the breeder who gave me my name didn't know that it would be the same as my Mum's name !

The winter school holidays are on now in the sate of Victoria, Australia.
Yesterday was a sunny day so Dad took Anais and Mathew to Luna Park :

Wow it looks like fun, I wish I could have come !

This is a bit scary though !

You can't see it, but Matthew and Anais are standing in real snow which came from the mountains; they are too far to go for a day trip (4 hours from Melbourne), so we haven't been there yet, but it sounds too cold for me, I'd rather stay near the heater !

This is one of Melbourne's old trams.

A street near Luna Park; don't these tin people look funny ?

Mum stayed at home with me because she was tired, but Dad found her some really nice old fashioned toys like she loves : a wooden dog (Mum called him Caramel) and a little carousel.

Thank you for those wonderful pictures of you with flowers, the Fantastic Festival of Fabulous Flowers is going to be ... fantastic !
You have until Sunday 11th July to send your photos here

There is a playful child inside every person's heart, and that child will always be there throughout that person’s life.
“The great man is he that does not lose his child's heart.” – Mencius
“In every real man a child is hidden that wants to play.” - Friedrich Nietzsche

We think about you my dear friends, take care and best wishes for your life.
Until next time...

I so agree about both your name and your human's name, Bella!

Oh! I didn't realise you're doing another photo theme! If my human has time before the 11th, I'll get her to help me find a photo of me with flowers to send you!

How did I miss this beautiful post Bella?
I'm 200% sure that the best thing about your name is that it is a diminutive of your Mum's name.
Another thing I want to say is that Anais looks just like your Daddy, how wonderful.
Cheers!
