Daily Digest of our Delicious Deambulations (number 1)

Welcome to the "Daily Digest of our Delicious Deambulations", which is a fancy name Dad made up for our vacation diary.
After a long but comfortable car trip (I was sleeping across Amelie and Matthew and Ollie on Anais), we arrived at our lovely house near the sea.

We explored the house, there are many stairs- George, this is a house you would like !

We then went for a walk near the house; we saw some cows :

A kookaburra :
(Kookaburras are large kingfishers native to Australia and New Guinea; they are best known for their unmistakable call, which sounds like loud, echoing human laughter — good-natured, but rather hysterical)

The sea !

Stay tuned for the next instalment of our adventures !

I have always wondered what type of animal a "kookaburra" was/is. Thanks for teaching me about it!

I remember that song "Kookaburra lives in an old gum treeee...merry, merry King of the bush is he, laugh Kookaburra, laugh Kookaburra..." I don't remember the rest lol

The first time I saw kookaburra was when I was in Australia 10 years ago, your kookaburra tells me time does fly by quickly : )
It's spring time and it is beautiful there.
