You've made my day !

Do you know what makes my day ?
There are many things, but I'd like to tell you about two of them:

Number 1 : Your comments

Thank you, thank you so much for all the love, encouragement, praise and humour that you put in your comments, it really makes my day as well as my family's !
Number 2 : Your lovely blogs

I love reading your blogs and discovering your adventures - thank you for sharing all the joy in your life with us, but if you have any sadness you know it's important to share it too, because we can help you, encourage you, pray for you and send you all our love.

I'd like to discover more about the places you live, can I ask you to send  a postcard of the city or region where you live to me, Bella at P.O. Box 2604, Cheltenham 3192, Australia. Don't forget to put your address so I can send you a postcard of Melbourne, an aboriginal painting or an Australian animal (tell me if you have a preference). Mum says she will help me to reply to everyone and then she will put all your cards on a map of the world so I can see where you all live.
Thank you in advance, I'm looking forward to getting some nice postcards.

I find a lot of  beautiful words on your blogs, like this one :
Life is a precious gift,

love is a wonderful gift,
and laughter is a glorious gift.
So live life to the fullest,
love with all your heart,
and laugh as much as you breathe.

Silly Dad couldn't remember which blog he got it from; if this is yours, let me know because Dad would like to quote it in the next edition of my book.

Amelie has been invited to her friend Lauren's wedding and I asked if I could come along; Lauren said yes, so I asked Mum to get me a nice outfit :

But when Amelie showed me a photo of Lauren and her future husband,  I had second thoughts : if that tiger is best man and he's hungry, he might eat me. HELP !!!!
"Bella come out of under that bed, it's a photo that was taken when they were  on holidays in Thailand, they didn't bring him back !" - said Amelie

It's Oskar's 5th birthday today, please go and visit him here - Happy Birthday and best wishes Oskar from all of us !
Do you know what I would love ? If you could send me your birth date or gotcha date, with your first photo and a recent photo and I could put it on my blog on the day - and if you send me your postal address, then Mum could send you a beautiful card too !

Go and visit the beautiful Julep, she is modelling a dress I sent her and it suits her so well !

Martha and Bailey didn't want to wear hats, but their Mum did some magic to put a hat on their head - go and see them here !

Who is the most popular hat doggie ?

Announcing the winners of the Hat Parade; yes, there are two winners because Mum wanted to give a prize for the most popular girl as well.

The most popular boy hat doggie is Mango the Marvelous Maltese :

The most popular girl hat doggie is Maggie the Amazing Airedale :

Mango and Maggie, please send your postal address to me and the postman will bring you a lovely prize all the way from Australia.
Congratulations and a big round of applause to Mango, Maggie and all the others who participated, well done !
And a big round of applause too for the wonderful Benny and Lily who missed out because their photos got caught in a spam filter (I've told dad to check the spam filter every day now !)

and also for the lovely Dory :

This week-end, I'll go running in the park next door with my family; last week-end when I was there, a man was running and I overtook him. He stopped and then tried running faster but every time I ran faster than him ! Poor man, I think he was disappointed and by the time he gave up, we were both exhausted !

Anyway, have a lovely week-end my friends and take care !

The most important thing in a competition is to believe in yourself and try your best.

Look at my new toy !

Yesterday Mum got me a new toy, it's a go go car !
(Note from Mum : actually it was for Matthew - and me - but Bella jumped on it as soon as she saw it )

Come on Mum, I'm ready !

So we went to the park to try it and I went really fast !

After all this excitement, I need a nap :

"Good night, sweet Bella..."

Thank you to all who participated and all who voted for making the hat parade such a success If you haven't voted yet, do it now, I know it's so hard to choose, but there is going to be a prize for the most popular ! (see left hand side of the blog).
Go and have look at Dory by clicking here. Her Mum forgot to send her picture, but she is really beautiful.

Dad was really happy to have his beautiful photo of a cockatoo featured in a book on Australia Day; you can preview the book by clicking here. It's from my holidays in the Grampians - you can read about them here

Bella, who always loves to share her happiness, and her family say to all of you : "Best wishes and take care".

Playing with toys makes you feel young and happy no matter how old you are.

Welcome to my almost Royal Hat Parade !

On Monday, Australians had a public holiday for the Queen's birthday; in fact her real birthday is on April 21 which is a week after mine, so I think next year I'll ask her if we can combine our birthday parties.
I knew Her Majesty loves dogs and in particular corgis, so I invited her to my hat parade and told her my friends from Corgi Country would be there. Unfortunately she was already booked to go on a hat parade at the Royal Ascot horse races. Never mind, the most important thing is that so many of my friends came to my hat parade, thank you all, I'm so happy you could join me !

I now declare this not quite royal hat parade open, enjoy all the wonderful hats and vote for your favourite - voting is on the left hand side of the blog near the top. You have until Thursday next week to vote and the most popular will have a mystery prize, good luck !

How sweet to be cuddled

I love to be cuddled, it makes me feel warm and loved. Amelie, Lucy the koala and Mum love cuddles too.

Amelie is my secretary; I get her to type comments to all my friends' blogs; she does a very good job, so I let her have a rest when she's tired.

My grandmother (we call her 'Nannie') loves playing with her dolls and I borrowed her pram, but yesterday was the time to return it; I love it when Mum takes me for a ride around the house in the pram, so she said "Don't worry Bella, I have kept the stroller that I used for Matthew when we arrived in Australia". Thanks Mum, it's great !

Please join me in sending your thoughts and prayers to Santa and Minnie, as their grandmother has left them.

You have until Wednesday 9:00 PM AEST to send your photos for the hat parade - you will be able to vote for your favourite, and there will be a prize for the most popular !

Cuddle your loved one(s) every day to say you love them, it is a great way to say that you love them.
