Celebration of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month

I read on Maggie and Mitch's blog that the ASPCA was celebrating Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month by running a photo competition to show the ways that pets, family and friends have gone orange for animals. I thought it was a great cause so I asked Mum to find me some orange clothes.

When Dad went to upload the photos, he found that he couldn't because we don't live in the USA, so he sent them to my good friends Maggie and Mitch  and they posted them for me. Thank you so much Maggie and Mitch, that was very kind of you and best of luck for the photos you've entered in the competition !

Keep sending some photos for the pajama party, even if you don't have pajamas, a T-shirt or night cap will do !

Yesterday Mum sold the first copy of my book "Follow Bella's pawsteps to happiness" and she gave me a yummy treat to celebrate - I hope I get one for every book, I think I'll have to ask for a commission ! The lady who bought it was really happy so I'm glad this book can bring some happiness, because that's why I made it (with a little help from Mum and Dad !)

Let's have a pajama party !

I'd love to have a pajama party; I have a few nice pajamas to wear, so it would be a hard choice.

I love angels !

I love angels, I believe they make miracles happen, and Mum says that I'm a little angel because I'm always by her side to love and protect her.

Announcing the winner of my book

The Global Animal blogging Event 2010 has finished so it is time to announce the winner of my book.

I would have loved to give a copy of my book to everyone who took part in the competition because I'm so happy to have so many friends, so thanks to all of you who visited my blog during the competition and I hope that you will continue to do so - I have so many more adventures to share with you !
Remember, if you send me your address, I will send you a little surprise (you'll just have to be patient because it is being made and needs to be sent to Australia before I can send it to you...). A big thanks to Twinkie for organising this great event, I'm looking forward to GABE 2011.

Mum and Dad put all the comments that were posted on my blog during the competition in a hat and the one that I drew is from the lovely Martha and Bailey.
As they live in beautiful Scotland, their prize may take some time to get to them because Mum tells me a cloud of ash from a volcano in Iceland is stopping planes landing in Europe. Well I hope it doesn't mean we're all going to be extinct like the dinosaurs were, but Dad says it was a long time ago and there were probably lots and lots of volcanoes erupting at the same time.

I get a lot of questions about my wardrobe (you'll see more than 30 of my outfits in my book); Mum started putting some outfits that were worn by my brother and sisters, for example this hat that Mum made for Amelie - don't we look alike ? Can you tell which one is me ? (Amelie was 6 months old)

Here's Amelie now (she's 20 now), and my suitcase where all my wardrobe is stored - it's getting full !

Mum loves to go to opportunity shops to find me more outfits; her favourite is this one, all the proceeds go to the Australian Animal Protection Society Keysborough Animal Shelter, which is great because they look after dogs and cats really well until they find a new family.
